Director of Community Health – Full Time

Way to Grow has been recognized in the Minneapolis non-profit community as an innovator in promoting school readiness for low-income families. Armed with a mission to engage diverse parents and families to nurture and prepare their children for school and life success through community-driven support programs; Way to Grow promotes school readiness through parenting education and support, health education, and early childhood development. They began work in 1989 and became an independent 501(3)(c) agency in 2004, and in a few years have grown to support more than 2,000 parents and children each year.

The Director of Community Health is a senior management position responsible for driving all prenatal and health activities for Way to Grow. This position reports to the Executive Director and will work closely with program managers, staff, and community members to promote Way to Grow's mission in the Minneapolis community.

Candidates must be a licensed public health with 3-5 years management experience, ability to development and implement staff training programs, proven experience with professional supervision and contract management.
