You Can Help Children Succeed in School

School readiness means children having the foundation they need to succeed in school.  Sadly, half of the children entering kindergarten don’t know the letters of the alphabet or some of the sounds that letters makes.  These early language skills are key building blocks for learning to read.  Without these skills, children start behind in school and have a difficult time catching up.

Parents are their children’s first, and most important, teachers.  Way to Grow helps parents gain the knowledge, skills and access to resources they need to raise healthy, bright children.  You can help by volunteering, donating, or spreading the word about the importance of children gaining the foundation they deserve to succeed in school.
